2016 Pinot Grigio
A zesty, fruity white wine with a juicy mouth feel.
Normally a cool-climate variety, a challenge to grow in warm Calaveras County, we planted these vines near Coyote Creek which flows down from the mountains bringing a cool air flow. Fermented in stainless steel and aged sur lees for 7 months, our 2016 Pinot Grigio displays bright aromas of apples and melon. Pairs well with white meats, seafood and food with a fruit element, Such a lemons, oranges, peaches, or apricots.
